NEHEMIAH 9:6 “YOU ALONE ARE THE LORD. YOU MADE THE HEAVENS, EVEN THE HIGHEST HEAVENS, AND ALL THEIR STARY HOST, THE EARTH AND ALL THAT IS ON IT, THe SEAS AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM. YOU GAVE LIFE TO EVERYTHING AND THE MULTITUDE OF HEAVEN WORSHIP YOU.”
Once Nehemiah was asked to complete a major assignment, he knew he couldn’t complete it on his own strength. He and his colleagues paused to reflect on the AWE of God. That pause, reflecting on who God is and the AWE he evokes, gave them strength to continue. We need to do the same at times. Stop, stand back and reflect.
