PSALM 3:3-4 “YOU, LORD, ARE A SHIELD AROUND ME, MY GLORY, THE ONE WHO LIFTS MY HEAD HIGH. I CALL OUT TO THE LORD AND HE ANSWERS FROM HIS HIGH MOUNTAIN.”
From ancient times, God’s servants intuitively knew how important a healthy SELF-ESTEEM is. The writer realizes how fulfilling it is to be associated with His “GLORY.” We all need to be able to walk around with our “HEAD [LIFTED] HIGH.” If we don’t feel that sense of worth, then “CALL OUT TO THE LORD,” as suggested here. Our God wants us all to feel good about ourselves, regardless of our past.
