2 SAMUEL 3:39 “AND TODAY, THOUGH I AM THE ANOINTED KING, I AM WEAK, AND THOSE SONS OF ZERUIAH ARE TOO STRONG FOR ME. MAY THE LORD REPAY THE EVILDOER FOR HIS EVIL DEEDS.”
What a fantastic example of WISDOM! King David knew his LIMITATIONS, his limits on how he could protect himself and limits on how he could preserve justice. He appealed to the Lord to right the wrongs he couldn’t, even though he was king. Remember his wisdom.
