PSALM 34:8 “TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD.”
These words of INVITATION are a precursor to Jesus’ invitation (Matthew 11:29) to “Take my yoke upon you…find rest for your souls.” Throughout scripture there is an OPEN-ENDED request to just try to live ‘God’s plan for a person’s life. In most all cases, anyone sincerely making an effort to live the Lord’s way finds it refreshing and ultimately to her liking. Usually it’s the person who, without ever trying, says, “I can’t live that way…it’s too hard.” This verse is a reminder to all of us to NEVER PREJUDGE and not act when we sense an action might be in our best interest. Our Father always has our best interest at heart.
