POWER POST FOR THE WEEK
I know you’re busy but here’s your SPIRIT inspired POWER POST guaranteed to help you through the week:
HEBREWS 4:16 “LET US APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRACE WITH CONFIDENCE,SO THAT WE MAY RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE TO HELP US IN OUR TIME OF NEED.”
I’m dealing with some serious health issues at home. As so often happens, an appropriate verse comes up in my Bible reading. This verse helped me see what I should be praying for “IN MY TIME OF NEED.” Praying for healing, but equally important, this verse suggests I pray for Mercy during times of adversity. MERCY to endure through suffering and GRACE (GOD’S SPECIAL KINDNESS) to help me through the ordeal with wisdom and His Spirit. And this must be done with CONFIDENCE that the Lord is here helping me now. Please put this verse in a special place to access during your own next adversity.

I’ve found there is power pent up in the phrases from the Bible. They have been read, repeated aloud and pondered for several thousand years. In hours of need when I want direction, comfort or wisdom and God’s spirit I find these phrases help me feel connected to the millions of people before me who have been inspired by these same words. I feel when I repeat these words I am unlocking the spirit that inspired those original first words. I feel at peace and grateful for any help that comes from above.
