1 SAMUEL 2:4 “THE BOWS OF THE WARRIORS ARE BROKEN, BUT THOSE WHO STUMBLE ARE ARMED WITH STRENGTH.”
This is a poetic way of saying there will come a time when those thinking they are invincible will find themselves powerless; while those who STUMBLE and experience adversity now, but ASK for the Lord’s protection, will be bolstered. A major reason our society is turning from Christianity is we’re lulled into thinking we don’t need divine protection. However, those going through, or having gone through, difficult times know they need outside intervention. How much easier to go through life “ARMED WITH STRENGTH” from above. Simply ask for that strength.
