JEREMIAH 9:23-4 “THIS IS WHAT THE LORD SAYS, ‘LET NOT THE WISE BOAST ABOUT THEIR WISDOM OR THE STRONG BOAST OF THEIR STRENGTH OR THE RICH BOAST OF THEIR RICHES, BUT LET THE ONE WHO BOASTS BOAST ABOUT THIS: THAT THEY HAVE THE UNDERSTANDING TO KNOW ME, THAT I AM THE LORD, WHO EXERCISES KINDNESS, JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS ON EARTH, FOR IN THESE I DELIGHT,’ DECLARES THE LORD.”
Here the Lord tells us when journeying through life, walk with “HUMILITY,” and not presumptuously. Jeremiah put it clearly. The three things men usually boast about wisdom, power, riches are only temporary. To really know God an individuals must have felt the Lord’s KINDNESS, HIS JUSTICE and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS in their own lives. Once they do, they are at a whole new level and have a reason to boast.
