ROMANS 14:17 “FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT FOOD AND DRINK BUT RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.”
What is the Kingdom of God that the Bible talks so much about? Paul tells us it’s not a place or a thing but a STATE OF MIND and a RELATIONSHIP with the Lord and with other believers. As your life is transformed by God’s spirit you feel already living under God’s reign with clear effects. You can feel your life changing in three primary ways. You become more concerned with RIGHTEOUSNESS (with Justice and Love). Your life is more PEACEFUL. Then true JOY engulfs your life. Like a miracle, no matter where you live, your environment is transformed. You feel inner love coming into you and going out from you. If you don’t have that yet, just tell God you want to be in his KINGDOM. He’ll lead you there in short order.
