JOHN 14:27 “PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU; MY PEACE I GIVE TO YOU. I DO NOT GIVE TO YOU AS THE WORLD GIVES. DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED AND DO NOT BE AFRAID.”
Jesus here offers what, to me, is his most awesome gift bar none, PEACE. Regardless of what happens to me, good or bad, when I have peace ALL IS WELL IN THE WORLD. Peace is the sensation of inner calmness, CONTENTMENT, protection. God’s peace can carry us through all exigencies. When things are going well, peace heightens the pleasure. When things go sour, peace mitigates the discomfort. Keep praying for peace; Jesus will work with you to receive it.
