Being a spiritual person doesn’t relieve us of all our problems. Many things can go wrong. But Jesus, who announced this, proved to us WE CAN OVERCOME our difficulties. He’s saying in effect, “I’ve gone through more problems in my life, while I was here, then you ever will. I’VE CONQUERED them and I’m not cynical and I didn’t give up hope. You can too. I’ll show you how. I made it through with the spirit from the Father, you will too. Don’t give up when facing suffering. I CONQUERED, and with my guidance, YOU WILL TOO.”
