PSALM 33:18 “BUT THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE ON THOSE WH0 FEAR HIM, ON THOSE WHOSE HOPE IS IN HIS UNFAILING LOVE.”
So often scripture speaks of “FEAR OF GOD.” As this verse reveals, fear is often connected with “LOVE OF GOD.” For example, I FEAR to do anything unintentionally that might hurt the reputation of someone I love. With God, fear and love are compatible. It’s not the usual type of fear.
