POWER POST FOR THE WEEK
I know you’re busy but here’s your SPIRIT inspired POWER POST guaranteed to help you through the week:
HABAKKUK 3:2 “LORD, I HAVE HEARD OF YOUR FAME; I STAND IN AWE OF YOUR DEEDS, O LORD, RENEW THEM IN OUR DAY, IN OUR TIMES MAKE THEM KNOWN.”
How many of us have thought the same way as the Bible writer here. “God, you’ve done grand miracles in the past, it would be nice if you did a few in our time so the whole world could see.” But we know there are many reasons gigantic miracles aren’t necessary today. Miracles draw attention but don’t necessarily engender faith. God knows faith is among the most powerful forces in the Universe. BUILDING FAITH PERSONALLY will give us more strength and ability than a sign in the sky. And GOD PREFERS TO DEAL WITH EACH OF US PERSONALLY anyway. The little miracles we observe through our walk with God turn out to be Big Reminders to each of us. LOOK FOR THOSE LITTLE SIGNS and seeming coincidences that appear in your life.

I’ve found there is power pent up in the phrases from the Bible. They have been read, repeated aloud and pondered for several thousand years. In hours of need when I want direction, comfort or wisdom and God’s spirit I find these phrases help me feel connected to the millions of people before me who have been inspired by these same words. I feel when I repeat these words I am unlocking the spirit that inspired those original first words. I feel at peace and grateful for any help that comes from above. I send a new phrase and a few sentence commentary once a week. Look for them in the future.
