PSALM 34:19 “THE RIGHTEOUS MAN MAY HAVE TROUBLES, BUT THE LORD DELIVERS HIM FROM THEM ALL.”
Being close to God does not absolve us from troubles. Righteous or not, life brings sorrow to all. The big difference, the psalmist points out, is the righteous can count on the Lord to DELIVER them from every kind of adversity. Some how, some way, we make it through. Even if it’s our last breathe, the Lord helps us face the ordeal. He energizes us to build a CONQUERING ATTITUDE and muster the courage to face our troubles.
