POWER POST FOR THE WEEK

DEUTERONOMY 2:7 “THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS BLESSED YOU IN ALL THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS. HE HAS WATCHED OVER YOUR JOURNEY THROUGH THIS VAST DESERT. THESE FORTY YEARS THE LORD YOUR GOD HAS BEEN WITH YOU, AND YOU HAVE LACKED NOTHING.”
When I read this verse several years back I was taken aback, nonplussed. I exclaimed, “This verse is talking about my experience!” But not mine only, also that of millions of Christians world wide through the ages. These words were first written to describe the journey of the Jews wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, but it’s true for anyone who tries to live Jesus’ way. At first when becoming a Christian it was like wandering in the wilderness. I look back and have to admit I’ve been blessed. Since then I have ALWAYS HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED (maybe not all I wanted). I have LACKED NOTHING for over well over forty years now. I can testify from experience, if one starts following JESUS’ SIMPLE WAY, he/she will look back years later and exclaim, “My life has been BLESSED and happy!”
