ECCLESIASTES 3:12-3 “I KNOW THAT THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN TO BE HAPPY AND TO DO GOOD WHILE THEY LIVE. THAT EACH MAY EAT AND DRINK AND FIND SATISFACTION IN ALL THEIR TOIL, THIS IS THE GIFT OF GOD.”
The wise man, after a long life, admits he doesn’t have all the answers but he does conclude that God wants us to be happy. He states this is “THE GIFT OF GOD.” God’s gift to us is to be happy, to enjoy life, to find meaning in life, to find work we enjoy and finally to do good while we still have the gift of life. This is what God wants for us and so we ask, “Do you have all these elements in your life?” Regardless of your present circumstances, strive for these elements…pray for them…HAPPINESS, SATISFACTION, MEANINGFUL WORK AND DOING GOOD. I believe our LORD can help you attain this minimum now with His guidance.
