POWER POST FOR THE WEEK
I know you’re busy but here’s your SPIRIT inspired POWER POST guaranteed to help you through the week:
PSALM 91:14-5 “‘BECAUSE HE LOVES ME,’ SAYS THE LORD, ‘I WILL RESCUE HIM; I WILL PROTECT HIM…HE WILL CALL ON ME AND I WILL ANSWER HIM; I WILL BE WITH HIM IN TROUBLE, I WILL DELIVER HIM AND HONOR HIM.”
Don’t get the wrong impression when the verse says “Because he loves me” will God act. Many places in scripture validate that the Lord loves all equally. How can a parent not love his or her child? But if we do love God back, naturally we’ll open up to his PROTECTION and GUIDANCE. When we act in return, we open up to a whole new world of POSSIBILITIES, declares David here. When in trouble the Lord promises to RESCUE and DELIVER us. He’s always ready to help, but it’s up to us to allow him inside. Why not let him HONOR us with His divine presence?

I’ve found there is power pent up in the phrases from the Bible. They have been read, repeated aloud and pondered for several thousand years. In hours of need when I want direction, comfort or wisdom and God’s spirit I find these phrases help me feel connected to the millions of people before me who have been inspired by these same words. I feel when I repeat these words I am unlocking the spirit that inspired those original first words. I feel at peace and grateful for any help that comes from above. I send a new phrase and a few sentence commentary once a week. Look for them in the future.
