2 CORINTHIANS 5:20-1 “WE IMPLORE YOU ON CHRIST’S BEHALF: BE RECONCILED TO GOD. GOD MADE HIM WHO HAD NO SIN TO BE SIN FOR US, SO THAT IN HIM WE MIGHT BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.”
God is the embodiment of PERFECTION. We humans are anything but. So God devised a plan, through Christ, to reconcile us to Him. To be RECONCILED is to have a RELATIONSHIP. Like oil and water don’t mix without an emulsifying agent, Christ’s intervention is the source of the relationship that makes us RIGHTEOUS so we can act as God’s emissaries.
